My recommendations

I'd recommend taking I-5. I've driven from SF to Seattle and back taking I-5 twice. You can take 101, and it will certainly be nice along the coast, especially if you're driving during the hot summer months, but it can long and windy.
If you take I-5, then in Oregon you can stop in Portland and Ashland, two very nice cities. The restaurants in Ashland are some of the best and most creativ...en Gate Bridge into San Francisco.
If you're headed further south to LA, you can take 101 and make a stop in Monterey and Santa Cruz, but again, it will be a long, windy, sometimes frustrating drive. Or you can take I-5, which will be faster. You'll get to stop in San Jose, Gilroy, and you can still take a side trip to Monterey or Santa Cruz if you want, but I highly advise staying on I-5.

And do you know how far away anaime is from there like anaime ballet

    • Sacramento is a pretty mellow city. We are a very big city but very flat, not too many tall buildings but in downtown. We also have TONS of trees and have been nicked "the city of trees" and usually hit one of the top ten lists for most courteous drivers. The river runs through the cit …ento Kings (men's) The Sacramento River Cats (minor league baseball) and the Sac State Hornets (California State University Sacramento)

Not sure about anaime? we do have - ballet is located on K street with some pretty big productions.
      Hope this helps! :)

  • Avatar Disturbed One To all Baseball players who played USSSA on a 13U or 14U Travel Team?

My name is Vincent Valentine from Northern CA. For Years i have played the ordinary orangevale pony Leage baseball. But last year was wild, I have never played such advanced baseball in my life. Six Players dropped out of Travel Ball because the price was rising. So they came to Orangevale Pony …o A's last year, with another amazing player with the last name Polin. Jeff Martin and Polin I think are together on the same travel team. They would be playing in the Sacramento Area teams. Or anywhere in Northern California. Thanks for your Help. Remember. Aaron Winter, Jeff Martin, and Polin.

    • That's what it shows for Jeff Martin.

      Aaron Winter.

      Yea I played USSSA

Hi I'm failing Ap us history and almost precalc but I think I can pull off C's in both of them and I was just wondering what kid of cal state colleges would let me in. My grades are real good until junior year I've slipt a little I can also say that I'm a pretty good baseball player maybe make d3 or d2 I got pulled up to varsity sophomore year and also play all year round travel ball. My final overall gpa would be around 3.2 by the end of senior year. So what csu's would accept me?

Please help me out... a website to find them.... your personal experience, whether you were on the team or you played them.... I really want to keep playing ball and my high school doesn't have an off-season travel team.

I am in Placer County (Rocklin, Roseville, Granite Bay), but will also play in the Sacramento, Lincoln or Auburn area... I am looking for a good team that I can stick with till the end of high school... I already know about Hard 90's baseball team but from what I have heard, they are EXPENSIVE!!!

  • Avatar kcroyals15 Do you think Honolulu will get affiliated Minor League baseball in the next 10 years?
    Jul 26, 2011 by kcroyals15 | Posted in Baseball

They had AAA ball for 27 years. With a good, downtown stadium that actually has real grass, then I believe that being able to have fan support to offset massive travel costs could work. What are your thoughts?
EDIT: Now you guys have a good point, but think that for the last decade in Honolulu they played in a 50,000 seat football stadium with Astroturf located well outside of downtown. In 1970, when the Hawaii Islanders played in a baseball park in town, theyled Minor League Baseball with over 400,000 fans that year. So there isn't a question to if their fans could support it

    • Not in the next ten years- MLB won't be expanding for a while now, and only the A's really want to move. To San Jose.
